Within a few easy steps you will find the beautiful beach and Sheringham’s bustling town centre. Here you will find so many great places to eat that you could venture out every evening and never have to dine at the same place twice, unless you find a favourite, that is! You will also find a pretty town full of independent shops and two museums. Sheringham boasts an excellent cliff top golf course, the North Norfolk Railway, also known as the ’Poppy Line’, and Sheringham Park, a must visit for nature lovers and walkers alike.
Those who would like to venture a little further will be spoilt for choice with coastal villages and towns galore, easy access to the Norfolk Broads, the Muckleburgh and Thursford Collections and The Norfolk Shire Horse Centre and Amazona Zoo, to name but a few attractions. We have stayed at The Hideaway before in 2023 and loved it. Upon returning it felt like coming home, there is everything you need and the location is excellent. Just walk up the hill past the mini golf and you have a fantastic coast walk into Cromer via Beeston Bump or you can walk along the beach. Regarding rubbish, it would be great if some clarity was explained regarding recycling and food waste. I like to recycle but did not know what to do with the food waste but did wash out all cans jars and bottles before putting in bin.Otherwise Totally recommended.
