Guests say

The Hideaway in Sheringham is highly praised for its excellent location, being close to both the beach and town centre while remaining peaceful and secluded. Guests consistently mention the comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, with a cosy atmosphere ideal for couples or those with dogs. The property is clean and provides everything needed for a relaxing stay. Minor negatives include occasional issues with a soft mattress, a slight damp smell, and rare external noise from nearby building works, but these do not detract from the overwhelmingly positive experience.

Multiple reviews highlight the property as clean and well-maintained, with only one mention of a slight damp smell that cleared quickly. No significant cleanliness issues were reported.

The location is repeatedly described as perfect, central, and peaceful, with easy access to the beach, shops, and local amenities. Guests appreciate being able to walk everywhere and the quiet setting.

Guests frequently mention the comfortable bed and cosy atmosphere. A few found the mattress too soft for their preference, but this was noted as a personal issue rather than a general fault.

The property is described as well-equipped, with everything needed for a self-catering stay. The garden is appreciated, though one guest found it a bit scruffy. Facilities are modern and functional.

Guests mention helpful advice from the owners, such as parking tips, and the provision of essentials like towels and cleaning supplies. While thoughtful touches are noted, gifts are not specifically mentioned and cannot be guaranteed.

Nice private bungalow with own courtyard garden but that was scruffy. The parking ideal on the front road for us.Or there was neighbouring roads. With the thick gravel laid to the gate approx 50yards + it is not wheelchair or mobility scooter accessible a narrow path would make a big difference It was a 10min walk to the seafront cafes shops etc
