Guests say

Sea La Vie is a well-received cottage in Sheringham, praised for its cleanliness, prime location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, modern amenities, and the bonus of off-street parking, despite it being tight for larger vehicles. The property is dog-friendly and within walking distance to the beach, shops, and eateries. Steep stairs are noted, but overall, guests report a cosy and enjoyable stay, with many planning to return.

Guests consistently commend the cottage for its cleanliness, with several reviewers highlighting the property's impeccable condition upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, town centre, and local amenities. Guests appreciate the convenience of having attractions within walking distance, enhancing the appeal of the property.

Comfort is frequently mentioned, with guests finding the beds cosy and the cottage warm. A few guests noted the steepness of the stairs and a 'dodgy' bed, but these were minor points in otherwise positive feedback about the property's comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped with modern facilities, including a washing machine and Wi-Fi. Guests are satisfied with the amenities provided, though some mention the parking can be challenging and the stairs steep. The presence of a dog gate and a well-thought-out kitchen are appreciated.

Reviewers express gratitude for the thoughtful extras and the hosts' communication, which add to the welcoming atmosphere of the cottage. While gifts like welcome goodies are mentioned, it is noted that such gestures, though delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We have had a lovely break here at Sea-La-Vie. The cottage is bright and airy, but warm and very cosy in the recent cold weather.Very well furnished and great attention to detail to support a comfortable, relaxing stay. The beds are good and we have slept really well. The kitchen is well thought out with everything you need to self cater. The bathroom has a good shower and a comfortable deep bath.Just a short five minute walk and you're gazing out to sea! Surrounded by comfortable places to eat and drink with a mixture of interesting shops of all shapes and sizes. We haven't used the car very often as Sea-La-Vie in Sheringham has all we needed in walking distance, Bannings the fantastic butchers, two bakeries and fish and chips just round the corner at Dave's. A local Sainsbury's and a larger Tesco's a little further away. Loads of places to visit just a short drive away including National Trust properties and walks. Our hosts have been wonderful, checking to see if anything else was required during our stay. I can honestly say they are the most professional and friendly hosts I have ever encountered.Sea-La-Vie is a wonderful place to stay.Thank you so much Annette and Steve we have had a great break.

We loved the cottage. Warm and cosy and well equipped. We have visited Sherringham before and really like this friendly town. We used public transport (train to Norwich and bus to Cromer and Holt) which worked very well. Would like to visit again if in the area.

What a lovely way to see in the new year as a family. The charming cottage was fully equipped, cosy & comfortable. The location was also perfect - short walk to the sea front & into the town itself. Would love to come back in the summer months.
