This stylish retreat for two is in the peaceful clifftop village of Overstrand, on the Norfolk coast. The village, which is often much quieter than its neighbours of Cromer and Mundesley, boasts some of the finest views in Norfolk. Within the village, you’ll find a handful of local shops, as well as a cosy pub and a delightful clifftop cafe. A short, 200-metre stroll brings you to Overstrand’s spectacular beach, where you can enjoy romantic picnics on the sand, walk along the shoreline, or join the locals for a spot of surfing. An exhilarating 1.5-mile hike along the coast path brings you to the coastal resort of Cromer. Here, you can enjoy a potter around the traditional seaside shops, sample the famous Cromer crab in one of the seafood restaurants, or watch a show at the theatre at the end of the pier. Nearby attractions include the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, Amazona Zoo, and the North Norfolk Railway (all within 7 miles).
