The pretty village of Thornage is situated just 3 miles from the popular, historic and bustling market town of Holt, which offers a delightful choice of restaurants, shops and pubs. The nearby Holt Country Park has 100 acres of beautiful woodland to explore. The coast is within easy reach, with the thriving villages of Blakeney and Salthouse just 6 miles away. Among many local attractions are Pensthorpe Natural Park, Castle Acre, and the fantastic nature reserves of Scolt Head and Blakeney Point, which is home to a colony of grey seals. There are numerous charming towns and villages to visit including Fakenham and Wells next the Sea, or you could visit Houghton Hall, Holkham Hall or the royal estate at Sandringham. Four curved brick steps, with hand rail, lead down from the parking area to the entrance of this lovely, traditional and thoughtfully renovated end of terrace cottage. On entering you will find yourself in the welcoming and cosy open plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Approximately 20 metres from the front door is a pretty, enclosed garden with a patio and lawn. It is sheltered and catches the sun in most places throughout the day. Please note the garden is situated between two neighbouring cottages and can only be accessed from the lane and not directly from the cottage. As the garden is separate from the cottage and there are other animals in the area, dogs must not be left unsupervised. Parking for one car is available directly outside the cottage.
