Guests say

The Coach House is a spacious, well-equipped cottage in a peaceful village, ideal for families and dog owners. Guests praise its comfort, cleanliness, and convenient location for exploring North Norfolk and the coast. The enclosed garden, ample amenities, and friendly hosts are frequently highlighted. Some minor maintenance issues and occasional comments about overgrown outdoor areas and missing welcome packs are noted, but these do not detract from the overall positive experience. The property is especially appreciated for its cosy atmosphere, cleanliness, and suitability for both short breaks and longer stays.

Most guests found the cottage very clean and well-presented, with several describing it as spotless. A few mentioned areas needing more attention, such as dust on furniture or a generally grubby feel, but these were in the minority.

The location is highly praised for its peaceful village setting and proximity to North Norfolk attractions, beaches, and walks. Some noted the drive to the coast is 10–30 minutes, but overall, guests found it convenient and central for exploring the area.

Guests consistently mention comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a cosy atmosphere. A few noted issues with pillows or mattresses, but the majority found the property very comfortable for families and groups.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, with appreciated extras like books, DVDs, and enclosed garden space. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues (light bulbs, garden upkeep, WC flushing), but overall facilities met or exceeded expectations.

Several guests mentioned friendly, helpful hosts and clear instructions. While some reviews referenced a welcome pack in the listing, most guests did not receive one, so gifts or extras are not guaranteed. The presence of books, DVDs, and dog-friendly touches was appreciated.

The Coach House is in a great location, perfect for exploring North Norfolk and beyond. Fakenham is a short drive (10 mins) and has all the ammenities you require. Two major supermarkets. The village is quiet, we found a couple of lovely local walks and used the village shop. Sadly no pub.Fakenham itself is well worth a visit, especially on a Thursday morning when there is a market and the auction is in full flow. The coach House is well equiped for 6 adults and the layout makes it feel spacious. Enclosed garden for sitting out is an added bonus. We would gladly return.

A nice place in a quiet area and you don’t hear the factory plant across the road. The house though could do with being dusted as the bedside cabinets, bookshelves and table had dust all over them. The mattresses and pillows could do with updating as the pillows were flat and rock hard and the mattress was undulating
