Partridge Barn is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its warm, cosy atmosphere and spacious, secure garden ideal for pets. The property boasts a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. Its location is convenient for local attractions and beaches, though some guests noted issues with heating and maintenance.
The property generally appears to be well-kept, with only a few remarks about windows not being cleaned and some stained towels. The majority of guests did not raise cleanliness as an issue, suggesting a high standard overall.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to local attractions, beaches, and amenities. It offers a quiet, private setting that is central for guests' needs. The occasional mention of overhead jets is noted but does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
Guests find the property comfortable, with underfloor heating and cosy furnishings. However, some guests mentioned that the mattresses and sofas could be improved, and the lack of heating in bathrooms was noted as a discomfort.
The barn is well-equipped with kitchen utensils and offers a spacious living area. Some guests suggested improvements such as heated towel rails, larger toasters, and better-quality frying pans. The need for some TLC and maintenance is mentioned, indicating room for improvement.
While guests appreciated welcome gifts and the property's homely feel, there is not enough information to determine if such thoughtfulness is consistent across all stays. Therefore, while the gestures are well-received, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed.

We were a family of 6 (three generations). We loved the barn, it was warm and spacious in a quiet situation, there was a large enclosed garden with a lovely view. The Christmas tree and decorations were appreciated. It was a short drive to Fakenham for shops and other amenities. Wells next to the Sea was a 15 minute drive and Holt about 20 minutes.

underfloor heating kept it continuously warm, very comfortable sofas and the bed we used was extremely comfortable in the main room. Lovely shower and the bath was an added treat after very long walks! The kitchen was very well stocked. Huge enclosed garden for our two dogs. We ran into Keith, the handyman, on our first morning who gave us an excellent idea for walking the dogs from the barn before their “proper” walks later on. He was very friendly. The only downside was the jets from RAF Mildenhall overhead from dusk until 10pm for three out of the four nights. However, maybe we were unlucky and coincided with night manoeuvres. We would definitely return.
