Guests say

Sandpipers in Padstow is praised for its excellent location, spaciousness, and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the property's charm after refurbishment. While some noted signs of wear and maintenance needs, the overall experience remains positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The property generally appears clean, with guests satisfied upon arrival. However, there are isolated mentions of a damp issue and flaking paint, suggesting room for improvement in certain areas.

The location is consistently highlighted as fantastic, being very close to the harbour and amenities, which guests find extremely convenient.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the property spacious. Some guests, however, mention that the sofas and pillows could be improved for better comfort.

The kitchen is well-equipped, but there are several reports of tired furnishings, outdated appliances, and maintenance issues like broken drawers and missing TV sets, indicating a need for updates.

While a welcome tray is mentioned as a thoughtful touch, there are not enough references to gifts or additional thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category.

We enjoyed our 2nd stay at Sandpiper’s however the property is starting to look a little tired and neglected in places. Kitchen had a broken drawer which made the cupboard below unusable, dishwasher very dated and required cleaning as filter was dirty. Kitchen cupboards in general had some water damage, kick boards needed repair, oven however was fantastic. Mattresses on the king size beds were uncomfortable, pillows very poor and some of the bedding lacked substance as it was cold over Christmas. The garden was overgrown with ivy and brambles and also weeds growing in between the pavers. We have made the above comments not to be over critical but to give an honest overview of what is still a property with so much potential and the caretaker Julie is extremely helpful should you need to contact her
