If you fancy having a go at surfing, lessons and equipment hire can be booked at the local surf school. The Pavilion Theatre on the pier stages traditional variety shows and live music events. Amazona Zoo (1 mile) offers a fantastic family day out and don’t miss a round of crazy golf or the excellent maritime museum. You can pick up the Norfolk Coast Path providing stunning walks along cliffs and marshes, where you’ll find quaint seaside villages and towns including, Sheringham, Cley, and Blakeney (all within 13 miles). Or venture inland to the Georgian market town of Holt and hop on the North Norfolk Railway steam train (10 miles).
