Stone Cottage, a delightful 200-year-old detached cottage, is reputedly the oldest house in the sought after village of Sharrington and was, at one time, the village post office.

Full of character, the cottage has been renovated in recent years and, under the current ownership, has been transformed into a really lovely, welcoming and comfortable holiday property, with modern touches and quirky decorative bits and pieces. The age of the cottage means the beamed ceilings are on the lowish side, the stairs are quite steep (there is no handrail), and the width of the doorway to the twin bedded room is 'slimline'. There's a fabulously cosy open-plan living area, divided by a large double sided wood burning stove to keep you warm in the winter months. In the summer, there is a really lovely private, enclosed garden to enjoy.

With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, the cottage will appeal to families and couples, who want to enjoy this beautiful part of rural North Norfolk. Just three miles from the ever popular Georgian market town of Holt, one mile from an award-winning farm shop and restaurant, and within easy driving distance of the beautiful coastal villages of Morston, Cley and Blakeney, there is something on offer for everyone.
