Located at the centre of the quintessentially Norfolk coastal village of Blakeney, Yew Tree Cottage is a charming traditional brick and flint cottage. Near to the bustling harbour yet tucked away from the main street, this idyllic hideaway offers a magnificent experience of what coastal life used to be like in this stunning area of Norfolk.

Beautifully constructed from traditional materials, Yew Tree Cottage has been lovingly curated to blend original features with modern conveniences. With original artworks and sculptures displayed throughout, the cottage perfectly embodies contemporary living by the coast. The expertly designed bespoke galley kitchen boasts oak worktops and is well-equipped with modern appliances. Parquet flooring leads through to the serene dining room with seating available for four guests around a delightful farmhouse table. The sitting room offers ample comfortable seating appointed with a cosy wood burning stove. For warmer summer days, the door opens to a courtyard garden. Typical for cottages of this era, the bathroom is located on the ground floor, and features a bath with shower over.

The original cottage stairs to the first floor are very steep, but offer a sensor light and hand rail. Upstairs, the master bedroom is comfortable and romantic, styled with attractive furnishings to compliment the original features, including an ornamental fireplace and wood panelled latched doors. This room boasts a king-size bed dressed with sumptuous bedding and fine linens. Decorated with a coastal theme, the second bedroom hosts twin beds. Located on a loke with no passing traffic, guests are guaranteed a peaceful sleep.

Outside, the fully enclosed courtyard garden offers table and chairs with an accompanying charcoal barbecue. Please see Additional Information for parking advice.

Yew Tree Cottage is set back from the High Street off a small loke (lane), we recommend that you don’t try and reverse into the loke to unload, it’s very tight.

Set back off the main street yet located close to Blakeney harbour, a mere one minute walk leads to the village quay, pubs and amenities. Yew Tree Cottage is ideally located as a base from which to explore this area of the coast which boasts an exceptional culinary scene, picturesque villages and stunning beaches.
