About this property

This contemporary first floor apartment, within an imposing Victorian building, is in an elevated position in the centre of Hunstanton, Norfolk. As this lovely apartment is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the wonderful beach and town, it is ideal for both friends and families. Entry to the apartment is shared with other residents in the building. On entering the apartment you will instantly find it is light and spacious with its tall ceilings and large bay window in the sitting room, overlooking the town and sea. From the sitting room there is access to a small, cosy twin bedroom, which also has lovely views. There is also a large, well-equipped kitchen and dining area, where you can sit and relax planning your next day’s activities. Step down from the kitchen into the family bathroom and master bedroom towards the back of the house. Within a few minutes’ walk from the apartment there are the wonderful sandy beaches of Hunstanton, together with its wide promenades and well-kept gardens. There are many attractions in the town with lots of traditional seaside activities and watersports on offer. Close by, there are the RSPB reserves of Titchwell and Snettisham, or if you prefer, you can visit Sandringham, the Queen’s county estate, taking a tour around the house, the museum and the country park. Holkham Hall is an 18th-century country house located adjacent to the village of Holkham and well worth a visit. This lovely seaside apartment is ideal for friends and families looking for a seaside holiday, with the advantage of so many attractions on the doorstep.

The award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, locally known as Sunny Hunny, is located on the Western side of the East Norfolk Coastline, renowned for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hunstanton is a great family-friendly holiday destination. The sea front with promenade offers rock and candy floss stalls, funfair rides, a sea life sanctuary, bowls, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade gardens, theatre, clean sandy beaches, donkey rides and sea tours in an amphibious craft. On Sunday afternoons a band often plays in the bandstand on the green overlooking the beach, serenading sunbathers and day-trippers, while throughout the year additional events are held within the town.

My friend and I just couldn't get comfortable. The flat was spoilt by the downstairs entrance and the smoking from the people downstairs. Also kept awake by people downstairs sitting outside talking outside bedroom window till 1am. Parking also an issue and on one occasion a plumber had used Parking space so was unable to park and had to go out again.

Zero kerb appeal. 2, the shared hallway is disgusting. Had an O.M.G. moment it was that bad. 3, the flat was O.K. clean and well equipped. However the cigarette smoke smell from the flat below was very strong and unpleasant. 4, the allocated car parking at the rear of the building was too small for anything larger than a mini. It was impossible to park Our large family car there. Street parking was a nightmare to find. Would not return to or recommend this property.

Welcome pack is most thoughtful. We love the lounge and Itchen areas and notice the master bedroom has been decorated from since our previous stay 3 years ago. The only problem we had was the very restricted parking space at the back which was difficult to manoeuvre in and out of.
