Guests consistently highlight the well-equipped kitchen, thoughtful touches, and homely atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring North Norfolk, with easy access to local amenities, beaches, and pubs. Many reviewers appreciate the welcome packs and attention to detail, especially for families and dog owners. Minor negatives include occasional parking challenges and a slight dog smell for non-pet owners, but these are far outweighed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback and repeat visits.
Cleanliness is repeatedly described as outstanding, with many guests noting the cottage is spotlessly clean and well-presented. Even dog owners comment on the high standard of cleanliness, and only one review mentions a slight dog smell, which is acknowledged as expected in a pet-friendly property.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the coast, local shops, pubs, and attractions. Guests find it convenient for exploring North Norfolk and appreciate the quiet yet central village setting. Only one review mentions minor noise from a nearby builder's yard, but this is not a common concern.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as comfortable, cosy, and homely, with high-quality beds and bedding. The property is warm and inviting, even in colder months, and provides a relaxing environment for families, couples, and dog owners alike.
Facilities are a standout feature, with numerous mentions of the exceptionally well-equipped kitchen, abundance of games and toys, and thoughtful extras such as maps, toiletries, and local information. The cottage is described as having everything needed for a self-catering stay and more.
Many guests appreciate the welcome packs, gifts for dogs, and small touches like wine, milk, and flowers. Communication from owners and caretakers is frequently praised. Please note, while these thoughtful gestures are often mentioned, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

What a gem of a find! This place has so much character and for 2 of us plus our dog was ebty of space. Close to so many nice beaches and walks and so much information provided about where to eat, walks and lots of little notes on how to use the house with a really well stocked kitchen. We are always a little apprehensive when booking a dog friendly place about how clean it will be.I have not seen cleaner. The contact and support was brilliant and the agent who was looking after the place was so friendly and helpful with milk of our choosing available in the fridge for our first cup of tea. Would def book again and have recommended to all my dog owning friends. Be mindful dogs are not allowed upstairs or on furniture but that works for us. The addition of baby gates made that stessfree.
