Located on The Wash, West Norfolk lies Heacham, a large village offering a family-friendly beach with plenty of watersports activities. The village itself is home to an array of shops, pubs and restaurants and boasts traditional cottages built from Carstone. The area is bursting with history; Heacham Hall, once owned by John Rolfe when he returned to England with Pocahontas, is now a renowned tourist attraction and you will also discover a memorial in the local church of St Mary. The area is known for its plethora of amazing wildlife, specifically its birdlife all through the year with several rspb sites nearby.
