While the property is generally clean and tidy, some minor maintenance issues and a lack of hanging space in bathrooms have been noted. The location is praised for its convenience, and the property is suitable for families and those with dogs. With a few improvements, particularly in comfort and facilities, this property could provide an even more enjoyable stay.

The property is described as clean and hygienic by several guests, though some mention stains on sofas, carpets, and mattresses, as well as dirty stairs and showers. Overall, cleanliness is acceptable but could be improved with more attention to detail.

The location is highly praised, with easy access to beaches, shops, and public transport. Guests found it convenient for exploring the local area and visiting family.

Guests found the bedrooms spacious, but some reported uncomfortable beds, thin walls, and a lack of hanging space in bathrooms. The property is more suited to families than groups of adults.

The kitchen is modern and well-fitted, but guests noted a lack of basic items such as oven gloves, enough mugs, and a larger toaster. Maintenance issues like a running toilet and overgrown garden were also mentioned.

The house is lovely and modern. Well fitted kitchen and utility room as well. The proximity to beaches and amenities were perfect. Some little things which do let it down though but only slightly (and hopefully they get rectified). The downstairs toilet would not stop running the water into the bowl, we eventually had to turn off the water to the cistern and could then only use the upstairs toilet. We told the owner and she said this has happened before and a plumber said nothing wrong with it!The garden is basic but practical but the grass really needed mowing, it was 10 inches tall in a lot of places making it difficult to see where our dog had done its business but we managed to eventually find them. The garden says enclosed (which it is) BUT there were gaps under the fence on the right hand side that our JRT could easily have crawled under. I did notice these gaps on the original photos and contacted cottages.com who in turn checked and we were told that the person that cleans takes her dog and it’s never escaped. We had to use some of the garden furniture to block off some of the bigger holes and watch him to make he didn’t try to move them.

How holiday was Monday- Friday we come back home on a Wednesday, Just felt uncomfortable the stairs had stains all on them and dirty to shower downstairs was dirty. The mattress had massive stains all over it.And there wasn’t much to do around the area.

This was fine for maybe a couple and 2kids, but a group adults will struggle like we did. The garden is very secure for kids and dogs. Unfortunately, the kitchen it lacked even the basics like oven gloves and enough mugs without having to constantly wash up. A two slice toaster for 6 people?? Really disappointing overall, we ended up eating out much more than expected. The beds were uncomfortable and there were no mattress protectors. There were stains on the sofas and carpet. Marks on the walls and unfinished paint job in the bathroom. It’s also very thin walled so you can hear every noise each person makes and hear every conversation from all over the house. More attention to the little things would help, such as newer towels, better bath mats, nicer toilet paper and enough handwash to last the week. Heacham itself is lovely and it’s a great location to be near Hunstanton and Brancaster beaches.
