Snaptrip says

The Goodwood Annex, set in a beautiful location near Chichester, offers proximity to stunning beaches and local amenities like the dog-friendly Walnut Tree pub. While guests appreciate the welcoming host and the site's charm, there are concerns regarding cleanliness and maintenance that need addressing.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Multiple reviews mention a lack of cleanliness, including a stale smell, stained sofa bed, and mould in bathrooms. The property appears to require a more thorough and professional cleaning regime.

The location is highly praised for its convenience to nearby attractions such as Brighton, Worthing, Bognor Regis, and the beautiful West Wittering beach, making it an ideal base for exploring Sussex.

Guests have reported discomfort due to dated furnishings, stained and uncomfortable sofa beds, and poor quality mattresses, suggesting that comfort could be significantly improved.

The facilities are described as dated and in need of refurbishment. Issues include a lingering smell, unhygienic carpeting in bathrooms, mouldy shower curtains, and broken fixtures.

While a generous welcome pack is mentioned, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of such gestures. It should be noted that such amenities are a bonus and not guaranteed.

The Domesday Book records 300 homes in the city of Chichester, which was founded before the Roman era. With its majestic 12th-century cathedral and lovely Georgian commercial centre, West Sussex's sole city takes pride in its status as the county town and can legitimately claim to offer visitors a unique cultural and aesthetic experience. Why not sign up for one of the informative walking tours that will show you about Chichester and its fortified walls, or visit some of the area's notable art galleries, museums, and historic homes, or watch a performance at the Festival Theatre? This location is fantastic to visit because there are numerous exhibitions and activities held there all year long. The Market Cross is regarded as the best in Britain and was granted to the city in 1501 to provide cover for those selling food. Chichester, which is still a thriving city, provides visitors with a day of joys with its pedestrian shopping centre, Victorian tea houses, charming antiques shops, and continental restaurants. Chichester is the ideal location for everything from summer vacations to cosy winter getaways, with everything from snorkelling and diving to cycling, long country walks, and bird watching. For those who enjoy the sea and watersports, make for the popular seaside resorts of East and West Wittering and Bracklesham Bay, which are just on the doorstep for family days out. To see the magnificent ships and boats, take a stroll along the Chichester Canal to Chichester Yacht Basin and Marina. With the addition of some kayaking, golfing, and fishing, there is more than enough to keep the entire family active all year long. This is made possible by Chichester's "micro-climate." Each year, Goodwood hosts a number of events, including its Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood, and Goodwood Revival, which attract tourists from all over the world to watch, listen to, and cheer as horses or cars race or parade in front of thousands of spectators. Chichester is a city rich in culture, food, theatres, and art galleries. It also has a fascinating past. The South Downs and Chichester Harbour, as well as numerous nature reserves, gorgeous beaches, and a dramatic coastline to the south, make this region a great destination for a break to unwind and rest. It also offers a remarkable array of places to discover.

Windows were dirty and one window the blind was broke. The shower head in one of the bathrooms was dripping non stop and in the other bathroom the shower curtain has mould. We were there for Christmas and I planned to cook the traditional dinner there. The oven was greasy and smelt. We had to clean everything before we moved in for our stay. The owners were next door so I probably wouldnt have booked if I had known.

It looked nothing like it did in the photos on your website! Despite this the general cleanliness and maintenance was very poor. The sofa bed was stained and extremely uncomfortable to sit/sleep on. There is carpet throught including the bathrooms which is not hygenic. There was black mold on the shower curtain which is unacceptable and a potential health issue for guests. The sink in the bathroom had a plug with a bit of wire attached to it? The second bathroom has a broken/dripping shower head. The bedding was old and didn't look as if it had been cleaned and the beds weren't made properly. The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. There was an old pub style bench on the decking so nowhere to sit and relax. Although the park itself was lovely this was just not acceptable accommodation for us to holiday in so we left after one night.
