Guests say

Pump Cottage is a charming and spacious holiday home in an excellent location, ideal for exploring the North Norfolk coast and enjoying local pubs and walks. Guests appreciate its cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and proximity to amenities. While the cottage is clean and well-equipped, some areas could benefit from refurbishment, particularly the bathroom and kitchen. Parking is available but can be tight. Thoughtful touches such as welcome packs are frequently mentioned, though not guaranteed. Overall, guests enjoy a warm and memorable stay in this characterful cottage.

Most guests found the cottage clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and fresh linen. However, a few noted minor issues such as flaking paint, tired bathroom fittings, and kitchen pans not being spotless.

The location is highly praised, with easy access to the coastal path, local pubs, shops, and bus routes. Guests consistently highlight the convenience and beauty of the area.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy, spacious, and comfortable, with warm heating and a pleasant lounge. Some mention the bedrooms can get warm in hot weather, and the lack of an upstairs bathroom is noted.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and smart TVs, but several reviews mention the need for a better shower, larger fridge, and some general maintenance or refurbishment.

Many guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome packs with milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, and even dog treats. Please note, these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Quirky old cottage that could do with a few small additions to make it more user friendly. Good modern oven, could do with a larger fridge for full occupancy and some extra coat /clothes hangers. Otherwise perfectly usable in good location and friendly host.

A comfortable cottage to stay for a few days. Welcome gifts including milk in the fridge, biscuits, tea & coffee bags were appreciated. Also the flowers on the table. Wi-fi worked well. Outside seating was a treat in the hot weather. Very close to bus stops with buses every hour.
