Guests say

Alder Lodge in Hunstanton offers a clean, spacious, and dog-friendly environment with a private garden. It's well-situated for local walks and beach visits, with shops and a Chinese takeaway nearby. The property provides a great base for exploring the area, though some TLC for lounge comfort and a welcoming touch could enhance the experience.

The cottage is described as clean and spacious, but there is a mention of sticky cupboard doors and dirty knobs, suggesting room for improvement in cleanliness.

The location is praised for its proximity to shops, beaches, and local walks, making it an ideal spot for guests looking to explore Hunstanton and its surroundings.

The property is generally seen as comfortable, but there is a negative comment about a sunken sofa and stained carpet, indicating that some furnishings may need updating for optimal comfort.

While the property is described as having excellent facilities and a well-stocked kitchen, there is no specific mention of maintenance issues apart from the need for TLC in the lounge, which does not provide enough information to score this category accurately.

There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the host, such as a pint of milk, which some guests might appreciate upon arrival. As such, it cannot be guaranteed that such gestures are a standard practice at this property.

Clean and spacious cottage. Useful shops a short drive away in Heacham , including a good Chinese takeaway. Walks from the cottage. Owner easily contactable for any queries.Old Hunstanton is 10 minutes drive away, we had a lovely walk to Holme next the sea (and lunch at the very popular pub). We particularly enjoyed walking the sands at OldHunstanton when the tide was out, and paddling in the sea. Dog friendly beach. Also running from Heacham north beach to Hunstanton along the sea wall on a very foggy morning.
