A dining room opens out to the conservatory and seats eight comfortably, making it perfect for sociable meals that stretch into the evening. The enclosed garden includes both lawn and patio areas, with an outside tap for washing muddy boots or paws. Two dogs are welcome to stay.

We had an enjoyable stay at Alder Lodge. The house is in a good location and is clean & functional although a little dated. Although the house sleeps 8, the dining areas do not comfortably sit 8. The owner was very helpful and communication was good.

Alder Lodge is a lovely holiday house, in an excellent location with a supermarket right down the road and Norfolk Lavender with its farm shop (and yummy sausages). The beach is minutes drive away which was brilliant for us and our boys loved the park round the corner as well. Thankyou to the owner for the recommendation to take our boys to see the lifeboat drills on Sunday morning, they loved it. Thankyou again for letting us use your beach hut it was a wonderful surprise for our boys. The house was reasonably well equipped though it would benefit from treating the kitchen to a new toaster. The boys loved the surprise of the train track hat box, the beds were comfortable and the shower in the ensuite was better than ones we've used at other holiday houses. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay here again.

A lovely comfortable spacious house with everything we needed for an over Christmas stay . In a quiet cul-de-sac with walks through the fields from the doorstep. Would recommend and hope to go back . Host was very helpful and accomodating .
