About this property

Settled in the seaside town of Hunstanton along the East Norfolk Coastline, is this attractive, end terrace cottage, 57 Southend Road, which dates to the late-1800s. Just a moment away from a sandy beach and bustling attractions, this family friendly home makes for an idyllic escape to Norfolk. Step inside to discover the entrance hallway; kick off your shoes and hang your coats, ready for a day filled with fun. Locate the bright and airy living/dining room, where you can sprawl on the sofa, as the TV with Freeview does the entertaining and tuck-into hearty meals at the dining table for four. Moving through your holiday home, find the well-equipped kitchen, certain to entice budding chefs with its gas cooker and you can freshen up your clothes in the utility room. Soak in natural light in the conservatory with a cup of tea or if the weather is warm, slide open the doors to discover the enclosed garden, where you can unwind on the furniture. As the sky grows dark, retire inside, and climb upstairs to choose between two beautifully presented bedrooms, a double and an adult bunk; both rooms offer lamps for a spot of bedtime reading. Awaken with a refreshing rinse in the spacious shower or relax in the tub and pour in the bubbles to relish the quiet. A short stroll will lead you to Hunstanton South Beach, where you can walk along the promenade with an ice cream in hand, tee up at crazy golf or enjoy a picnic at the scenic Esplanade Gardens. History buffs may wish to visit the town of King's Lynn to unveil the past at the fun Lynn Museum, marvel at its 18th century Minster or venture outside the town to the grand Sandringham Estate. Be sure to bring along your bike to tour the National Cycle Route 1 but if that's not for you there are exciting attractions close by including Axes and Escapes and the waterfront fairground of Rainbow Park. For an adventure like no other, choose 57 Southend Road.

The coastal town of Hunstanton, also known as Sunny Hunny, is situated on the western side of the East Norfolk Coastline and is famous for its stunning sunsets. Hunstanton is a fantastic holiday spot for families. Rock and candyfloss stalls, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowling, golfing, a leisure facility, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade gardens, theatre, clean sandy beaches, donkey rides, and sea cruises in an amphibious vessel are all available along the seafront and promenade. On Sunday afternoons, a band often performs at the bandstand on the green overlooking the beach, serenading sunbathers and day-trippers, while other events take place throughout the year. The brightly coloured cliff sides with intriguing rock pools can be found walking down the shore towards Old Hunstanton.

Attention to detail, and the little touches ( welcome gifts, fresh flowers, ) just made it extra special. Garden area is lovely although we didn't use it due to weather but surveyed it all from the conservatory . Position of the cottage is ideal, 3 to 5 min walk to shops restaurants and beach. Great communication from the owners.

It was easy to find free, unrestricted parking round the back on Crescent Road (may not be the same during the summer). Bit of traffic noise from Southend Road (particularly in wet weather) but the double glazing worked well to dampen this. Highly recommended :)

Good location for visiting beaches along the Norfolk coast and beautiful sunsets in Hunstanton. Really appreciated the homemade cake and apple juice, thank you!!
