We spent 4 weeks at Nightingale cottage and found it clean and presentable. There is a nice courtyard at the back of the cottage which is handy where we had a few barbecues.Unfortunately we had a few issues during our stay and it did put a damper on things but Sue the owner did her best to rectify the problems. We commend the owner for compliance to all safety features such as Interlinked smoke alarms and fire doors which wasn't the case with another cottage we stayed at in Castle acre. The cottage is in a quiet position not far from the Ostrich pub, we did have one meal there but it is expensive. There is a Budgen store a short stroll away which was good for buying essentials. The cottage was fine for a short stay but only had a fridge so without a freezer it was more of a challenge for a month stay having to prepare your meals daily.D M Norfolk
