The hall was commissioned and designed by world-renowned architect Alfred Waterhouse and dates back to 1881. Once inside this ground-floor apartment, you’ll feel instantly at home. The furnishings have been carefully selected to stay in keeping with the timeless elegance of the prestigious hall. The kitchen provides all the necessary mod-cons, so you can prepare home-cooked meals to be enjoyed at the dining table. With wonderfully high ceilings and large windows, the lounge is flooded with natural light providing the ideal space to relax and unwind. There is a wide passageway with a writing desk for anyone wishing to catch up on emails. But the star of the show is in the bedroom; the majestic, 4-poster, emperor bed will swallow you up and you won’t want to leave! The bathroom completes the apartment.

Guests can explore the 5 acres of beautiful grounds in which the hall sits. Enjoy peaceful woodland walks and take in the magnificent views of the lake. There is a patio area with garden furniture (shared with other properties on site) and large lawned gardens. Also within the grounds are the ruins of a Victorian folly where you can still see the former chapel room and bell tower.
