Located in the picturesque village of Winterton on Sea, which has an invigorating sea breeze and beautiful scenery, this former fisherman s cottage offers a great place to relax and unwind. The nearby beach and dunes offer lovely walks and wildlife spotting while the resident seal colony at Horsey attract many visitors during the winter months. Renowned for its wildlife and offering great opportunities for boating, canoeing, walking, cycling and fishing the nearby Norfolk broads is a memorable day trip and explored best by day boat hire. Family days out include bewilderwood, Wroxham barns and traditional seaside fun at Great Yarmouth. There is a multitude of local attractions, which appeals to all ages and tastes, there is never a shortage of places to go. Guests arriving at the cottage will initially enter the open plan kitchen/diner. While there are plenty of options to dine out, the contemporary kitchen incorporates everything required for holiday cooking including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and to help with the cleaning after, a handy dishwasher. Also in this room are a washing machine and dining table. Moving through to the cosy lounge, cooler nights are no problem with the open fire, guests can relax on the comfortable sofa and chairs while catching up with their favourite programmes on the TV or becoming engrossed in their latest novel. The conservatory with sofa and chair makes for the perfect place for a morning coffee and newspaper overlooking the garden and completing the ground floor is the bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The cottage staircase to the first floor is partially open and has fairly steep steps, parents of very young children should be careful, and upon reaching the landing guests will find three bedrooms, two doubles both with views out to the Winterton Dunes and a single bedroom. Outside the property has a fully enclosed garden, ideal for pets and children to play with a lawn area and a decked area with a charcoal BBQ and garden furniture an ideal for a spot of al fresco dining.
