As you arrive at the cottage, you'll find off-road parking, down a quiet country lane, entry is either through the back door or through the front door which leads into the sitting room, where you'll find elegant furniture, blended with traditional beams and fireplace, the room has a smart TV and an electric wood burner, where you can look forward to snuggling up after a long day of exploring your surroundings. From here, the dining room offers a comforting space to enjoy your meals as a family, complete with a dining table and another toasty electric burner, as well as boasting more characterful white beams. Certain to entice any budding chefs, the amply equipped farmhouse-style kitchen hosts an electric oven and hob, a microwave, an all-important dishwasher, and a handy washing machine to freshen up your clothes throughout your stay. When sleep calls, head up the traditional winding Norfolk stairs to the bedrooms to rest your head before another action-packed day of exploring; the first floor is home to a double bedroom with pretty views over the open fields, and a twin room, ideal for children and friends alike. You will also find a handy cloakroom fitted with a basin and WC on the first floor, and back on the ground floor, a family bathroom fitted with a shower over bath, basin and a WC, which serves the group when freshening up and preparing for the day. There is also a large cottage garden with seating at the back perfect for catching the afternoon sun, a perfect place for cocktails after a busy day.

The area hosts an array of restaurants and tearooms such as BridgeStones of Potter and The Waterside, as well as plenty of quaint shops and a couple of village pubs close to the cottage, there are two Co-Ops, a local butcher, fishmonger and more pubs all within easy reach and larger supermarkets are 15 minutes away. You can rent boats, kayaks and canoes locally at Martham Boatyard and explore the beauty of the Broads by water, it's a beautiful day out and you'll often see an amazing array of birds and other wildlife. Horsey Beach is a huge attraction which shouldn't be missed and it's only ten minutes away, there is a huge seal colony which makes the beach and sea their home, coming ashore to moult in late spring and having their pups in winter; during summer, you'll often spot them swimming in the local waters. The area is spoiled for choice when it comes to beaches, from Winterton on Sea all the way up to Happisburgh and beyond, there are dunes to explore and sandcastles to build, or you can just lie and soak up the sun while seagulls call in the distance. If you are travelling with children, BeWILDerwood Norfolk offers an action-packed day out perfect for letting off steam and tiring the little ones out, take a day trip to the city of Norwich and indulge in some shopping, the city is home to plenty of shops, both independent and chain stores, along with a welath of historical buildings within the city walls and a number of great restaurants and pubs.
