The two popular seaside spots of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are not far away and are both worth at least a day's exploring. If a dose of luscious countryside is what you're after, the beautiful Norfolk Broads are close by, with the attractive city of Norwich slightly further afield yet worth the trip. Gorleston-on-Sea is between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth on the Norfolk coast, offering a Blue Flag beach, promenade, cliff gardens with bowling greens and tennis courts, a working lighthouse, pavilion, amusement park and a selection of shops, restaurants and pubs. As well as coastline, head inland to explore the Norfolk Broads and the stunning city of Norwich.
