The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as 'spotlessly clean' and 'tidy'. Only one review mentioned a cleanliness issue, which seems to be an isolated incident.

The location is consistently praised for being close to the town centre and within easy reach of local attractions. Some guests mention traffic noise, but it's generally considered quiet at night.

Comfort is frequently commended, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the bed comfortable. The steep stairs are noted as a potential issue for those with mobility concerns.

Facilities are well-regarded, with the cottage described as well-equipped. Some guests suggest adding electric car charging points and improving the shower head, indicating room for maintenance improvements.

While many reviews mention thoughtful gestures such as welcome packs and festive decorations, there is no consistent reference to gifts being provided. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such amenities will always be included.

We loved it! So clean and cozy. The attention to detail and the lovely gestures made it really special. Christmas tree, decorations, bubbly, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk all on arrival. So thoughtful. Thank you so much Rosemary and Nikki.

Exactly as advertised. It was lovely to arrive to see that it was already beautifully decorated for Christmas and a very gratefully received welcome pack! Rosemary, the owner, was amenable and quick to respond to any queries. Flint cottage is highly recommended.

Well maintained. Appreciated being allowed in before 4pm, thanks. Was less happy about having to leave by 9.30 on a Sunday. Will definitely use again if we’re in the area.
