This compact first floor holiday apartment is tucked away quietly but is just 50 metres from the bustle of Bowness’ high street which offers a wide selection of restaurants, pubs and interesting shops. Comfortably furnished and fitted it has a balcony with views towards Claife Heights. The lake is a pleasant 5 minute stroll from where you can take a cruise up to Ambleside or enjoy numerous water sports. There is a huge variety of activities and attractions nearby. Excellent public transport covering most of the Lake District enables visitors to be car free. Shops and pubs 55 yards.

    We enjoyed our stay at West View very comfortable Apartment .The Pier was just down the road We enjoyed are trip across the lake to Ambleside also the buss service was good plenty of other places to visit overall we enjoyed our stay at West View 😎👍🏻❤️

    Dont waste your time and money on this place - it is so outdated and shabby. The storage heater system is intermittent, and only in one bedroom and the living room. The furniture and appliances are old and outdated. The flat is not very clean - stains on the carpet and in the bath; dust in the little bedroom; rust on the shower rack. The parking area is not big enough to be sure of a space. The instructions to find the flat are inaccurate and incomplete. When I mesaged the agency in charge of the letting their response took more than the 16 hours I was told it would take and then was factually incorrect. Another query has still never been answered. It felt like the agency had not visited the property for many years, if ever. I will never book with this company again. The closenes to Lake Windermere is the only positive in this accommodation - and it wasnt enough to make us stay for the whole 4 nights we had booked.
