The cottage is well situated but unfortunately there were too many problems with appliances within the cottage that really impacted the enjoyment of our holiday. The oven door did not close so affected cooking time, the freezer door seal did not work and we returned to defrosted food and a puddle of water on floor but the worst was the shower. The temperature control was obviously not working as it fluctuated between freezing cold and scalding hot. I would strongly advise not letting a child use it

What a brilliant few days we had at Nu-Holme. The cottage is tidy and clean (apart from the velux windows in the bathroom), and was very comfortable. Very good info pack and instruction manuals, and plenty of nearby takeaways. It was a bonus that there is a co-op store 30 seconds walk from the cottage. We would definitely come back for another visit
