Handy for shops, restaurants and local attractions, all you need is within easy walking distance and, with private, off road parking, there is little need to use your car. Furnished with contemporary soft furnishings and sumptuous fabrics and linens, Holborn House has all the essential items for your comfort and convenience and the two en-suite bathrooms are an added bonus, particularly for two couples wishing to holiday together.

Very nice property and beautifully appointed. Good location - a short walk to the lake. However there were a few issues. The equipment in the house is lacking! 4 mugs, 4 plates and 4 bowls are not really adequate! No water glasses, a mish mash of wine glasses, no cork screw, (we bought one and left it at the property!) no potato masher, no bowls to use in the microwave etc. - all things that it isn't unreasonable to expect. There is no wardrobe in the second bedroom and it would have been nice to have mugs in the bathrooms for toothbrushes. Having said all that, we enjoyed our stay and would return to Holborn House.

We had a lovely stay at Holborn House, it was lovely and clean. With modern appearance. The Beds were comfortable but the only downside was no wardrobe in one of the rooms to hang your clothes. And no mirror when you needed to dry your hair or get ready. The steps leading in were quite steep and some were a little loose. But the location was lovely with short walks to the pubs and shops.
