While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The majority of guests found Greystones to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about overlooked areas. The cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its convenience and proximity to local attractions, shops, and restaurants. The ability to explore Windermere and Bowness on foot is a highlight for many visitors.
Guests find the cottage cosy and homely, with comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere. Some concerns about the layout of the main bedroom and the quality of the sofas suggest room for improvement.
The property is well-equipped with a kitchen, heating, and a power shower. However, there are comments about the need for better seating, a smart TV, and some maintenance issues like a non-working shower and a problematic upstairs toilet.
While some guests mentioned the lack of a welcome pack with tea and coffee, there is not enough consistent information about gifts or additional thoughtful touches to accurately assess this category.

Bowness is a year-round destination, popular with old and young alike. A short, less than five minute stroll, brings you to the shops and a bit further down the hill, The World of Beatrix Potter, and picturesque Bowness Bay with its steamer pier and boat hire. Walk from the door to Brantfell via Post Knott for fine views of the lake or join up to the Dales Way for an extended ramble in beautiful countryside towards School Knott and beyond.

Instructions very clear and everything just great. Underfloor heating in bathroom and kitchen were the icing on the cake. Thank you!
Sara
Lovely and clean, appreciated the oven being clean also, as not always the case in other properties. Liked the inclusion of booklet of instructions for the heating, tv etc. Would defo book again. Shame the back room is a little dark, but still very comfortable, also the upstairs loo was not flushing properly. Great position for exploring both Windermere and Bowness on foot
