About this property
A lovely log cabin close to Coniston Water in Cumbria. This Lake District cottage is all on the ground floor and has one double bedroom and an open-plan living area. To the outside are extensive shared grounds, but for a little privacy you do have your own private veranda. Perfect for discovering the wonderful Lake District National Park as well as the beautiful Cumbrian coast, this log cabin near Greenodd is a wonderful romantic retreat. Note: Although all ground floor, there are external steps up to the lodge and a 50 meter walk along a gravel path.
Greenodd rests on the estuary of Carmel Sands on the borders of the Lake District National Park. Once an 18th Century shipbuilding centre and a significant commercial port, Greenodd today has a selection of shops and the local pub. The town of Ulverston is just 3 miles away and boasts a wide range of shops, pubs and leisure facilities.

This was are second stay stayed in buttermere in July and will certainly book again .

Lodge was comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately it rained all week so the lack of a washing machine was a small inconvenience. There is an off licence and fish and chips shop just up the road,and several large supermarkets in Ulverston. All in all good value, shame about the rain.

Very beautiful and calm atmosphere. Very good resting night sleep. Close to all attractions and town for anything you need. We really loved it and looking forward to coming back!
