Location was at base of the mountain and close to the Lakes I wanted to swim in Property well kept, modern with a nice garden/patio area over looking Keswick which provided stunning views It would be rare for us to return to the same place again another time as we like to do different things but would really consider a return stay here

The cottage was comfy and setting in the mountains was breath taking.

We had the pleasure of meeting the owner who was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the area. We particularly enjoyed the hike up Blencathra from Scales which looks down on the accommodation. Amazing views from the studio. Lovely town with 2 pubs (horse & farrier great for food) and a good cafe at Threlkeld village Hall.
