The only criticism would be the headroom in the bedroom. We are not very tall but we had to be careful not to knock our heads. Also the view from the garden is beautiful, but it really does look a bit neglected.

Cute little holiday cottage. Very cosy and warm. Has everything you need for a lovely stay. Owners have thought of everything, providing guests with binoculars that were great for star gazing and the little welcome pack with tea/coffee on arrival was a lovely surprise.Firm mattress on bed made for comfortable sleeping, as mentioned by others the ceiling height would be an issue if you’re particularly tall or have poor mobility. Garden was lovely and the views are spectacular, I particularly enjoyed the sunrise each morning and listening to the variety of birds singing. We didn’t use the garden features but a lot of it was “under repair”Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, it was isolated, quiet and the perfect location for exploring the Lake District. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
