The location is quite central which was perfect for the hikes we had planned around Derwentwater and Ullswater. We also wanted to be close to Ambleside and Keswick for other things. It's very quiet, off the main road and the cottage has a cosy feel. Owners communicate and are responsive. Parking space is ample and clearly signposted. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

A superb apartment in a beautiful old building. Set in its own grounds. A short walk to the village centre and perfectly placed for exploring the Lake District. Plenty to see and do within just a few miles. The apartment itself was spotless and the owners ensured nothing was overlooked. From the lovely flowers and wine that greeted us to little things like an umbrella and walking poles. We can't recommend the Old Coach House highly enough and I'm sure we will make this first choice if we are back in the future.
