Clean, well equipped and generally comfortable. The replacement windows were a big improvement both aesthetically and in terms of reducing traffic noise. During a cold February visit we found adjusting the heating in the lounge was not ideal. We would, however, happily return here.

We felt so at home and looked forward to returning every evening to relax in the warm and very comfortable living room. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable double bed. There was a good sized bathroom with excellent shower over bath. The lift up to the flat was very quick and easy. Key collection upon arrival was smooth. Very easy walk into Ambleside (around 20 minutes) and the flat is directly opposite Ambleside Waterhead for boat trips. 10 minute drive into Bowness, 15 minutes to Grasmere, 30 minutes to Keswick. The only drawback was the car port space allocated to the flat which is very tight. On the last day I damaged my car trying to reverse out of it. Other than that, we had the most enjoyable stay and would definitely return again. Home from home.

Balcony is a lovely place to sit but if it rains you can still see the view from the sofa/chair. Our second time visiting this apartment and we'd happily come back. Would suggest the provision of a kitchen spray to keep the counters clean and hygienic - every other self-catering place we stay in provides such a thing. The parking space is narrow but you can drive up another level and park in the unnumbered parking space there.
