Overall a lovely week in the Lake District- despite the weather. Bed was rather firm and would have benefited from a mattress topper but otherwise an excellent choice in a prime location.

Clean,comfortable cottage in a great location, Approximately 50 yards down a steep hill and you are into all of Amblesides many amenities. If you struggle on your legs it may not be for you because of the hill and steps into the property, we have already booked for next year because we loved the cottage and surrounding area so much.
