Moss Side Farm Cottage is a characterful property set in a picturesque location, offering a cosy and spacious environment with a friendly welcome from the owners. Guests have enjoyed the rustic charm, the renewable energy initiative, and the delightful hot tub. The presence of animals and proximity to local walks add to the appeal, although some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance.
Cleanliness scores are mixed, with several guests finding the cottage to be below expectations in terms of cleanliness, mentioning mould, dust, and cobwebs. However, others did not raise this as an issue, suggesting variability in the standard of cleaning between stays.
The location is highly praised for its stunning views and peaceful setting, with easy access to local walks and the village. Some guests were disappointed by the proximity of the campsite, which contradicts the listing's description of seclusion.
The cottage is frequently described as cosy, homely, and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a warm atmosphere. Some guests mentioned issues with appliances and fitments, but overall the comfort level is rated highly.
Facilities like the hot tub are a highlight, though some guests reported problems with appliances and general maintenance. The working farm setting and renewable energy are positives, but the need for tidying and updating some areas is noted.
