Further afield, a short drive north will bring you to Ambleside, home to the historic Ambleside Roman Fort, the serene greenspaces of the Stagshaw Gardens, and the stunning, natural landmark of the Stock Ghyll Force seventy-foot waterfall. Ideal for two adults two children.

  • Ian

Close to all amenities and has a lovely comfy bed. Things to consider are that the bedroom door handle gets stuck. Some bulbs and batteries in candles need replacing.

  • Stephen

TV could be renewed for smart television , settees not really comfortable, could be replaced. Loved the weeks holiday, if changed TV and new settees would use again
