Orrest Head Cottage's superpower is its location. The property is situated on the famous Orrest Head Walk. It features a very contemporary lounge, some amazing views, 3 bedrooms and 2 bath/shower rooms. Within a couple of minutes walk you can be in Windermere village with all of its pubs, restaurants and independent shops - what's not to like!

Orrest Head Cottage sleeps 6 and is located at the top of Windermere Village where it shares grounds with Orrest Head House our big luxury house also for rent.

Orrest Head Cottage has direct access to the famous Orrest Head walk (you don't have to cross any roads). In about 20 minutes you'll be at the top of Orrest Head, which has one of the best views of the English Lake District. It is the perfect morning dog walk or post dinner summer leg-stetcher.

The lounge is filled with light from 3 large windows the room has a 'Scandi hygge' feel with an acoustic panelled wall complete with Sunken Smart TV. It features squishy leather sofas and 2 contemporary fabric chairs. It's a great place to relax after a walk.

The kitchen is equipped with all the basics and has a 6-seat table nestled at one end to dine at.

There is a shower room and toilet on the ground floor.

Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms and some pretty amazing views across the village to the Lake.

bedroom 1 has a super-king-size bed and a single day bed. Bedroom 2 is a cosy single. Bedroom 3 is a twin with oak beds.

There is also a family bathroom on this floor with a shower over the bath, toilet and sink.

Outside there is a large gravelled area with parking for more cars than guests.

House restrictions
- For an extra charge of £30 per dog, two well-behaved dogs are welcome, but must be kept out of bedrooms and off furniture and not locked in the house alone.
- Smoking is not permitted.
