We stayed over Christmas and was just what we needed this year to have family together in a peaceful setting.

Hot tub was great addition however if you donât plan to use turn it off as noisy operation 24 hrs a day. Lodge needs major maintenance, shower tray cracked, door frames rotten, dining seating dirty and foam flat, wardrobe door hinge requires fixing. Bathroom extraction fan inoperable may account for mould on wall. Decking slippy and requires cleaning. More of a site issue, trees need cutting back to allow parking. Disappointed overall as not what I would have expected being rated as 4 star.
