The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as a positive feature, with its proximity to Windermere, Ambleside, and other attractions in the Lake District, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Comfort is praised, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the lodge homely. However, a few guests mentioned the beds being hard, which slightly affects the score.

Facilities, including the hot tub, are generally well-received, though there are minor comments about maintenance issues such as a broken dishwasher and central heating problems, which slightly lower the score.
