The cottage had everything that you needed and the presentation of the property was excellent. Bathrooms and kitchen were high spec, so much more than you would need for a holiday. The location was second to none with essential facilities nearby, pubs and shop. Arrival information was adequate and so we were settled very quickly. The weather was fantastic, gorgeous blue skies one day and then thick crisp snow the next. So picturesque which just added to the brilliant time. We truly recommend this property and will certainly aim to return again. The only slight negative was the broken window in the front door. When we enquired about it we were reassured that the owners were aware of it and it was safe.

We were advised not to use the shower or bath and fill containers with water. On Thursday morning, we were unable to have a shower or bath. I messaged you by Whatsapp on Thursday afternoon to advise you of this. On Friday, there was no hot water at all so we were forced to have cold showers. I messaged you repeatedly on Whatsapp but did not get a single meaningful response to indicate that you were following this up. I phoned you on Friday afternoon after eventually being able to get a phone signal, and you advised that a separate team receive these messages. As I said to you, is there no communication between teams? It is utterly brainless and from a customer service perspective, very very poor. I would like to be compensated for this - either as an ex gratia payment or a complementary voucher towards a future stay. I expect you to extend the courtesy of a reply to this message.
