Larna Place is a superb, contemporary residence.

Step into a spacious hallway where outdoor gear can be stored. A bright open plan living space cleverly incorporates a comfortable lounge area, well equipped kitchen and delightful dining table. Pretty French doors lead out onto a spacious patio, perfect for enjoying an evening drink with friends. Head upstairs to the first floor for two bedrooms; a master bedroom with charming Juliet balcony and super king size bed alongside a comfortable second bedroom that can be presented as a king or twin bedroom. The bedrooms feature Smart TVs and are complemented by a large family bathroom. Outside the property benefits from an electric charging point and parking for two cars. Set in pretty grounds with a large furnished patio. The owners politely advise that children under eight are not accepted at this property due to a pond in the grounds.

From your front door, a gentle stroll brings you to the centre of Ambleside. A friendly town bustling with outdoor equipment shops, charming cafes and a great selection of restaurants. Don’t forget to visit the charming 17th century Bridge House and enjoy exploring the area by boat with a cruise on Lake Windermere. From Ambleside, families will enjoy a gentle ramble to nearby Rydal Water and a chance to explore the famous Rydal caves. Neighbouring Grasmere and Windermere can easily be reached by bus or car.

Lying at the northern tip of Lake Windermere, England’s largest lake, Ambleside makes a superb base for touring the central Lakes, with Grasmere and the Langdale Valley just a short drive away. There is plenty to do here - cruises, boat trips and watersports on Lake Windermere itself and numerous shops, restaurants and pubs in the village to suit all tastes. On the lakeside at Waterhead, the parkland offers lovely views down the lake and a short stretch of beach, whilst a walk in the other direction, following Stock Ghyll through woodland, will bring you to the entrancing waterfall of Stock Ghyll Force. Along with the Lake and the great walking on offer, Ambleside is also famous for its annual rushbearing ceremony and the diminutive 17th century “Bridge House” - one of the most photographed buildings in the Lake District and now the National Trust Information Centre.

    Very, very high quality, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It's also in an ideal location. We thoroughly recommend it and hope to return. I do want to say that I was not that impressed by Lakelovers. I have used them in the past and they were excellent but not this time. Twice I would have liked to speak to a person but couldn't. Also the recorded message said they were not open on a Saturday anymore, which is not ideal for a holiday letting company. I have had better experiences with other companies.

    .lovely bedding towells etc heating was just right .felt the lighting over dinning table could be improved on as it was a bit dim in that corner in comparison to the rest of the room . Parking is a bonus .and just a nice distance to the town .we have been twice now .and wouldef recomend this is a superior property def fits the discription
