For a day out, why not enjoy a scenic 2 mile walk along the river? Pass by Elterwater and admire the waterfall at Stockghyll Force before stopping for a spot of lunch. Both the village of Ambleside and the nearby town of Bowness on Windermere offer a plethora of experiences, from high end walking shops and boutiques to some fantastic eateries and bars.
