Snaptrip says

Guests appreciate the cottage's peaceful location, comfortable main bedroom, and modern bathroom. The property offers a cosy atmosphere with a log burner and a well-equipped kitchen. The surrounding countryside and wildlife add to the charm, and the property is well-placed for exploring the Lake District. Some guests noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance, but overall experiences were positive.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property to be spotless, while others reported dust, dirt under sofas, and unclean kitchen appliances. The inconsistency leads to a slightly above average score.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, proximity to local attractions, and suitability for dog walking. The scenic setting and easy access to the Lake District contribute to a high score.

The main bedroom and bathroom are frequently described as comfortable and of a high standard. However, some guests found the living room furniture dated and the heating system, controlled remotely, was a concern for some, affecting the comfort level.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-stocked kitchen and quality appliances. However, there are mentions of maintenance issues such as a non-functional smoke alarm and a log burner needing attention. The garden also requires some updates.

There is insufficient information regarding thoughtfulness, such as gifts or special touches provided by the host, to accurately assess this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Dog settled straight away. Nice fire for those cold nights. Walks and interesting places to visit. Dog became mesmerised by the sheep not barking just watching. Would definitely stay here again and give others a thumbs up.
