The valley is set apart from Lake Windermere by a row of lower level fells, with plenty of space to climb up high and soak up stunning lake views. You'll never be too far from attractions, evening entertainment and sophisticated shopping in Bowness village, with Windermere Golf Club also nearby. From Bowness, Windermere Lake Cruises regularly depart to Ambleside and Lakeside. "

Crosthwaite is a small village set in the picturesque Lyth Valley, famous for its damson trees, and boasts a lovely pub known nationally for its excellent food. The lakeside towns of Windermere and Bowness are nearby, with plenty of activities, interest and entertainment for all ages.
