Beckwood is a charming attached barn conversion near Keswick and Ullswater in the Lake District. This beautiful stone-built barn has been renovated throughout and enjoys stunning views of Blencathra and the Dodds. The cottage is large enough for a group or an extended family, with the ground floor boasting a contemporary kitchen with a range cooker and Belfast pot sink, perfect for preparing home-cooked meals, giving way to a large conservatory diner with floor to ceiling windows, where guests can enjoy spectacular views of the fell as they dine or socialise. The downstairs flooring is a mix of slate and polished oak, both with underfloor heating throughout, housing a welcoming lounge with sofas, recessed lighting, a flatscreen TV, and a toasty woodburning stove. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor as well as a cloakroom with WC, utility room with washer/dryer and porch. Upstairs you'll find a master bedroom with a super king size bed, balcony, dressing room and en suite, as well as two twin bedrooms and a luxury family bathroom with a roll top bath and walk-in shower. The semi-enclosed back garden backs on to open pastures where sheep or ponies may wander. Amazing location with views of Blencathra and very easy to find.

Window sills in twin room were covered in dried dead flies and then the main bathroom toilet had a leak at the back. Overall the property was well equipped, but just the sofas were very soft and a bit tired looking. They could do with some sofa savers under the cushions for additional support
