Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, though there were instances where attention to detail was required, particularly with shower drainage and window cleanliness. The presence of flies due to nearby wildlife was also a concern for some.

The location is highly regarded for its tranquility, stunning views, and proximity to local attractions. Some guests noted the access could be challenging for low vehicles and the area was not as dog-friendly as expected.

Guests generally found the property comfortable, with spacious rooms and a large garden. The beds and seating were commended, although some guests mentioned issues with heating and the size of the coal fire.

The property is well-equipped, particularly the kitchen, but several guests reported maintenance issues such as problematic doors, heating, and appliances. The lack of a smart TV and issues with light bulbs were also mentioned.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the property owners. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Amazing location with views of Blencathra and very easy to find.

Window sills in twin room were covered in dried dead flies and then the main bathroom toilet had a leak at the back. Overall the property was well equipped, but just the sofas were very soft and a bit tired looking. They could do with some sofa savers under the cushions for additional support
