The delightful lawned garden with great views, is perfect to relax and unwind in, following a great day’s walking. Crofthead oozes charm, character and quality, with both antique and modern furnishings enhancing the cosy cottage ambience, but with modern bathroom and kitchen, with excellent range of appliances and facilities. This quiet corner of the Lakes is ideal not only for walking, but also cycling along quiet country lanes and relaxing in tranquil surroundings. The pretty villages of Hesket New Market and Caldbeck are both very close, each with traditional pubs, shops and cafes.

Absolutely brilliant week's holiday. Crofthead was a real home from home, comfortable, clean and those amazing views. So much to go and do each day or just relax at "home" and enjoy the surroundings. We are definitely returning.

Nice area to walk the fells. The cottage itself was very clean, and had everything expected from a 5 star property. The local hotels nearby served great food and ales.
