We have stayed at the cottage for the last 6 years because its location is perfect for us. The cottage is roomy and comfortable and as it is on a farm there is a lot of outside space to sit in if the weather is good.. we use it as a home from home when we visit the area every year.

Another fantastic holiday at a beautifully appointed cottage.

Fantastic weather was a bonus, but the location is amazing in any case. Peter and his family were so friendly and welcoming. meeting the dogs, ducks and horses everyday made my daughter very happy. The cottage garden was peaceful and private and safe for our dog. The house was spacious, clean and had all we needed. A few things are a bit dated but we like rustic charm anyway. Such a beautiful area with stunning beaches, Wast Water and Ennerdale, Great Gable and Scafell so close by. Great pubs walking distance and Co-op five minutes away by car in Seascale. Miniature railway at Ravensglass was 15 mins by car and even Piel Island near Barrow only an hour away. Overall, a brilliant break!
