Enter into the rear of the property to find the utility area accompanied by a functional ground floor shower room. This space is ideally positioned for taking off any mucky boots and rambling attire after a day on the mountains. The convenient shower is perfect for washing off any mucky paws.

From here, move into the kitchen/diner, where you can sit at the table with a warming cup of tea in hand as your home-cooked delights simmer on the hob; the kitchen hosts a wide range of appliances for your self-catering requirements, all neatly housed around the sleek white units adding a touch of contemporary to the dwelling. For more formal occasions, the dining room makes a great spot for everyone to gather together and enjoy one another's company, or take the opportunity to take a board game borrowed from the snug. The snug provides an idyllic space to delve into a good book as the evening draws to a close when you're seeking a quiet escape, or choose to unwind in the sitting room in front of the impressive woodburning stove as the television provides your entertainment for the evening.

On the first floor you can find three simple but stylish bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and a twin room, it makes an ideal layout for a variety of group needs. Whilst the front garden offers a gravelled area, the rear offers an extensive lawn area where you can dine alfresco beneath the setting sun as your canine companions run around freely.

The local area of Gosforth is a traditional village hosting a shop and pub, as well as the oldest and tallest Viking Cross in England, whereas nearby Seascale provides a marvellous way to explore the coast of get lost in a game of golf. Explore the wonder of the National Park by foot or bike for a scenic experience like no other.

Nether Wasdale is a small village situated to the west of Wastwater, the deepest lake in Great Britain. The village is well-served with two pubs, one with its own brewery, a farm shop and café selling local produce and ice cream. This area is the birthplace of climbing and is a superb base for climbing, hiking and all outdoor pursuits. Unlike many lakes, motorised boats are forbidden on Wastwater though canoeing and kayaking are perfect for these unspoilt and tranquil waters which add to the peace and serenity of this stunning part of the Lake District National Park. Wastwater is sided by The Screes and at the head of the lake the fells of Great Gable and Scafell Pike can be reached, popular with hikers and climbers alike. The view from the summit of Great Gable is said to be the finest view in Britain. At Wasdale Head is the church of St. Olaf, one of the smallest churches in England, dating back to 1550 and its beams are said to have come from Viking long boats. Close by are the villages of Santon Bridge and Gosforth.
