The owners were very welcoming, they had homemade cake and tea ready for our arrival. The cottage is a hidden gem, the views are breathtakingly beautiful. The nearest shop and petrol station is 14 minutes drive and open until 8pm. The kitchen had all the modcoms. My adult boys and I had a fantastic time staying here.

Fabulous holiday, the cottage was perfect. The location was beautiful with amazing views, peace and quiet in abundance. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area. We would highly recommend it and are planning to return.

We came for a quiet February weekend bimbling in the lakes with friends. The cottage was so comfy and cosy. It had everything you needed in the kitchen and brilliant instructions for lighting the fire. It has an electric meter that takes £1 coins but it was easy to use and had a gauge to tell you how much power you had left. Plenty of parking spaces and a good turning space in front of the cottage. It was so peaceful with views of the hills and the sea in the not too far distance. I wish we could have stayed longer.
