We spent three nights in early November (4 adults,2 children and 1 dog ). The cottage was very spacious, clean and well equipped. It is situated not far from beautiful Silecroft Beach. There is a fairly large back garden, which is not fully enclosed for (our escapist) small dogs.We ate at dog-friendly pubs - the King William IV, and the Bear in the Square in Millom. Both were excellent and reasonably priced.I am very happy to recommend this cottage, and would like to come back one day for a longer period, so as to explore more of the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Lovely house, big rooms. Warm and comfortable. We did enjoy the house and would definitely recommend it 😊Only issue was with the heating. Some of the radiators were warm at the bottom but cold at the top, particularly in the bathroom.

The cottage was absolutely lovely with nothing to fault it. We felt very at home and slept so well. The beds are very comfy and it is so quiet. We had a lovely walk to the beach and the cafe is well worth a visit.
